Here’s a fabulous recipe for Thanksgiving made with Breyers ice cream:

Ingredients:

2 containers (1.5 qts. ea) Breyers® All Natural Chocolate Ice Cream
1 cup Skippy® Super Chunk® Peanut Butter, melted and cooled slightly
1 container (8 oz.) frozen whipped topping, thawed
Turkey Decorations*

Instructions:

Line 9-inch springform pan with plastic wrap leaving 5-inch overhang; set aside.

Scoop 1 container Breyers® All Natural Chocolate Ice Cream into prepared pan, pressing to form an even layer. Top with Skippy® Super Chunk® Peanut Butter, then remaining Ice Cream, pressing to form an even layer; cover with overhanging plastic wrap. Freeze 4 hours or overnight. Freeze serving platter 30 minutes before serving.

Lift cake from pan using plastic wrap; remove plastic wrap and arrange cake on chilled serving platter. Frost with whipped topping. Decorate with Turkey Decorations. Freeze about 30 minutes if needed to firm up decorations.

*Turkey Decorations: 1 orange marshmallow circus peanut candy, small red cinnamon flavor breath mints, black decorating gel, 4 chocolate-dipped pretzels with sprinkles, fruit leather and 1 cup peanut butter candy pieces.

Walmart Announces They Will Price Match Black Friday Ad Prices

Walmart has announced that they will price match competitor ads on Black Friday (that’s amazing). Here’s an excerpt from their press release:

“Walmart is one of the only retailers that will price match competitors’ ads on “Black Friday.” Customers simply bring in competitors’ ads and Walmart will match the price of any identical product right at the register, making Walmart the easiest place to save this holiday season.”

If you have 20 pounds of potatoes to wash for your Thanksgiving meal throw them in the top shelf of the dishwasher. Set on the quick rinse cycle and let your dishwasher clean the potatoes. Not something I would do every day, but definitely a space and time saver during the holidays.

Hilarious!  I’m totally going to try this!

FREE Coffee at Burger King TODAY!

Burger King is looking to put some pep into its new breakfast push by giving out free cups of coffee every Friday morning in NOVEMBER!

The company will give out free 12-ounce cups of the coffee, which sells for $1 each. No purchase is necessary. Guests can receive the coffee during breakfast hours, until about 10:30 a.m.

The King expects to give away between 2 million and 4 million free cups throughout the promotion.

The chain will also give away coupons for free iced Seattle's Best Coffee for a future visit. Those drinks, in either vanilla or mocha flavors, were among nine new breakfast items the company introduced earlier this fall.
